While internal hex sockets easily round off under high-torque rotor installations, our Torx T25 star drive provides 100% positive radial engagement. It distributes torque across six symmetrical contact lobes, eliminating driver cam-out and preserving tool interfaces through countless brake pad and wheel swaps.

Ultra-Low Profile 9.5mm Flanged Button Head

With a low-profile 3.0mm head height and an integrated 9.5mm wide flange, these bolts provide generous clearance against fork lowers, caliper adapters, and quick-release / thru-axle dropouts. The wide flange acts as a captive washer, distributing clamping force across the rotor carrier without galling or warping lightweight multi-piece floating disc spiders.

Rotating Unsprung Mass Reduction for Faster Wheel Acceleration

Weight removed from the wheel hub constitutes rotating unsprung mass—the most influential weight reduction on a bicycle. At approximately 1.2–1.8 grams per bolt, a full set of 12 titanium rotor bolts (6 front, 6 rear) cuts hardware weight by ~45% compared to OEM steel screws. This reduction noticeably sharpens rotational acceleration, climbing response, and suspension compliance over rough terrain.

Thermal Stability & Severe Weather Immunity

Bicycle disc rotors frequently reach 200°C–300°C during sustained descents. Certified Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) titanium delivers superior thermal stability, retaining its 950+ MPa tensile strength without heat fatigue. The natural self-healing titanium oxide film ensures complete immunity to rust, trail mud, winter road salt, and aggressive bike wash detergents.

Rotor & Frame Compatibility

6-Bolt Disc Rotors: Direct fit for all standard 6-bolt ISO 44-hole pattern rotors (Shimano, SRAM / Avid, Magura, Hope, Formula, TRP, Hayes, Galfer, Campagnolo, Ashima).

Bicycle Frame Mounts: Perfect length and profile for water bottle cages, fender mounts, and fork cargo bosses.

Specifications & Dimensions

Material: Certified Aerospace Ti-6Al-4V (TC4) Titanium Alloy, Grade 5
Thread Size: M5
Thread Pitch: 0.8mm (Standard Metric Coarse)
Head Style: Low-Profile Flanged Button Head
Head Diameter: 9.5mm
Head Height: 3.0mm
Drive Type: Torx T25 6-Lobe Star Drive
Weight: ~1.2g (10mm), ~1.5g (12mm), ~1.8g (15mm)
Available Lengths: 10mm (Standard Disc Rotor), 12mm, 15mm
Available Finishes: Natural Titanium, PVD Vacuum-Coated Gold, Rainbow, Burn Blue, PVD Deep Black

Installation & Torque Guidelines

Clean hub threads thoroughly before installation.
