Installation & Torque Guidelines

Thoroughly wire-brush the vehicle hub threads to clear oxidation and debris. Apply a light dab of anti-seize paste to the thread flanks only (never lubricate the ball seat mating face). Hand-thread each bolt to ensure proper alignment. Tighten in a progressive 5-lug star crisscross sequence (1-3-5-2-4) using a calibrated manual torque wrench with a protective plastic-lined 17mm socket to Mercedes factory torque spec: typically 130–150 N·m (96–111 lb-ft, depending on model year and chassis).
