A titanium lug bolt weighs roughly 40% less than the steel item it replaces, and that saving sits in rotating unsprung mass where it does the most good. Torque to your manufacturer's figure with a calibrated wrench — titanium does not want to be over-torqued, and anti-seize on the thread is worth the thirty seconds.
