Installation & Torque Guidelines

Ensure hub threads are free of grit and rust. Apply a light dab of high-temperature anti-seize paste to the thread flanks and between the floating washer and bolt flange (do not lubricate the ball seat face mating with the wheel). Hand-thread all bolts into the hub to prevent cross-threading. Tighten in a progressive crisscross star pattern (1-3-5-2-4) using a non-marring, plastic-sleeved 19mm socket with a calibrated manual torque wrench to Porsche factory spec: 160 N·m (118 lb-ft) for 991/992/718 generations (or 130 N·m / 96 lb-ft for 996/986 generations). Re-check torque after initial 50–100 km of driving.
